I finally cleaned out my bulletin board at the office. I changed offices and had to get a smaller board. By default, this forced me to do some spring cleaning. This is the pile that I no longer feel attached to.

It was definitely fun going through an recalling these moments and experiences. However, it also reminded me that sometimes you have to let go of good to get great <— I think this is my mantra of the year.

I got this bracelet forever ago. It was my favorite, and I wore it quite a bit. It was one of my long-term find from The Limited.

It was starting to show quite a bit of rubbing wear, so I finally got rid of it. I replaced it with a plan bracelet from White House Black Market.

The next batch in the repetitive cycle is a pile of coupons. These coupons expired at the end of August, and I won’t be using them before that. I have decided to go ahead and toss them.

Up next is a pile of checks that are various types of reimbursements. It seems like I recently blogged about this but am not thinking that’s not the case.

I found checks from April that have been deposited and can now be thrown away.

I am updating the blog again for the day and went through the coupon box to get more coupons that have expired. I love a good sale and deal but coupons is where I’ve struggled. I like the idea of spending less that coupons provide, but I hate the idea of buying stuff just because I have a coupon.

This season of clean out has really helped me to hone a strategy where there is nothing wrong with coupons if they’re something you’re going to use. THey’re also great if you’re looking to donate. The discipline comes in when being intentional to not buy more than is needed just because it’s a great price. So I have no shame in saying I didn’t use these.

End of coupon rant.
