I have lots of reimbursement checks that come in from a variety of groups. I typically pay for my expenses and then get reimbursed. It’s easier that way and I can take advantage of earning airline miles.

Because of that, I had collected a pile of reimbursement checks. I’d deposited them but hadn’t thrown away the old checks. Now, it was time to clean out that pile. Theses are the checks that are all over 30 days old, so the bank no longer needs me to retain the physical copies.

Related, I always tell people to use credit responsibly but definitely get a card that rewards you. Whether it’s flights, cash back, hotel points, do what works for you. Just do something!
